Yes you can pursue the M.Sc. Biotechnology through JAM in IIT-B, IIT-I, IIT-R. As per the eligibility criteria Graduate of any branch/ Streams are eligible for asked programme. So you can give the JAM exam for M.Sc. Biotechnology. The detailed eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria : All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors degree. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates, and 50% or 5.0

Every IIT colleges Have different fee structure, After getting a qualifying score in IIT JAM exam you will check The colleges you want to get into For M.Sc. Course And that time you have to go every IIT's Site for Checking the FEE structure As every year there are changes in the fee so I say to check for IIT's site for fee structure. Hello IIT JAM Candidates!
If you are preparing for geology I would like to suggest to following tips for the exam. Read Basic techniques in structural geology by Stephen Marshak and Gautam Mitra. This will set the base for you. After reading first 4 chapters you will be able to appreciate the subject, solve questions and boost your confidence. These are some suggestions for you. The M.Sc Admission in VNIT Nagpur are done through CCMN (Centralized Counselling for M.Sc. Programs) based on IIT JAM Score only. So there is no other way for admission in M.Sc. Courses at VNIT Nagpur.
