IIT JAM is a national level exam which is held for the admission of candidates into IITs or IISc institutes for M.Sc. M.Sc-PhD and other integrated courses. IIT JAM exam is held every year in February and the application form registration can be done in sept-oct month. The IIT JAM 2020 exam is schedule on 9th February for which the application process was completed in September- October month. As you have completed the Masters degree in mathematics, you should apply for CSIR NET exam to be eligible for Ph.D. Admission into top institutes. The CSIR NET exam is held twice a year for the selection of candidates for lectureship and JRF. After qualifying the exam, you will be eligible for the higher education, like Ph.D. exam. The minimum qualification for the CSIR NET exam is post graduation degree. As you have completed M.Sc. In mathematics, you can apply for the CSIR NET Mathematics subject.
