Through your entire preparation must follow these tips. Always be optimistic about your preparations. Analyse the exam pattern and marking scheme. Always go for highly recommend sources for your preparation. Keep yourself updated with the changes going on for IIT JAM. Make a study plan and follow it strictly. 4) Physics
5) Mathematical statistics
6) Geology
As you are student of Life Science, you can apply for Biotechnology or Chemistry. IIT JAM 2020 entrance admission is open now, you can fill it by checking eligibility criteria by clicking here :-

Can you suggest some important topics of IIT JAM biotechnology? IIT JAM is conducted every year in February month for admission into M.Sc. And integrated courses. The biotechnology is one of the six subjects for which IIT JAM exam is organized. It is always beneficial to be aware of the complete IIT JAM Syllabus before starting your preparation. IIT JAM is an online entrance exam which includes seven papers: - Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Biological Science. It doesn't includes Microbiology, as a subject.

You can apply for both the exam if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for both the exams. Make sure that all the educational criteria you have for both exams. Both IIT JAM and JEST are held for the same purpose however there are some differences between them. There is no age limit for IIT JAM exam. The JEST is a screening test held for the selection of candidates for M.Sc, and Integrated courses on the other hand qualifying the IIT JAM exam will make you eligible to take admission into IIT institutes for M.Sc, Ph.D or other integrated courses. Hope it will help you.

Hello, Let me clear one thing here, the subject in your class 12th will not affect your eligibility for IIT Jam, but your graduation subject. You need to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria to be eligible for IIT JAM exam as mentioned below: Educational qualification: The candidates going to appear for IIT JAM exam must have the subject in their graduation for three years. Age limit: There is no age limit for IIT JAM examination. Still I will suggest you to check the official notification and make sure that you complete the eligibility to apply for IIT JAM exam. Hope it will help you. All the best for the exam ahead.
