IIT JAM is an entrance exam conducted by different IITs every year for admission in M.Sc Programme and Integrated Ph.D in different IITs. It is online exam, conducted in February every year. Students who are in TYBSc or completed B.Sc can eligible to apply. Age limit is 25 years approximately.

If you opted for Mathematics subject in IIT JAM exam then yes, you should prepare for this subject. First step is to check the full syllabus of your subject and then understand the exam pattern. Mark the important topics, topics in which you are weak and topics that have more weight-age in the exam. This way you can easily concentrate on your studies by dividing topics into segments.
