Candidates can find below the JAM eligibility criteria which are common for each programmes across institutes for appearing in the postgraduate Science admission test.
1. The candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate of subjects including languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Those however belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories need to secure at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects.
2. Candidates need to note that equivalence of marks in case of grades in letter/ CGPA (and not in percentage of marks) will be decided by the participating institutes of JAM.

Hi,
IIT JAM physics is a tough exam to crack complemented by limited number of seats. Self study will be sufficient only if you are a BORN GENIUS. Syllabus as well as pattern has changed drastically. There are separate books available for different topics in JAM Geology. So, buying these books separately for each topic is not a good idea. I would suggest you to take help from study materials which covers the syllabus for all the topics in a single book. So, you don't have to carry 10-15 books with you.
