Here, I have mentioned some IITs accepting JAM scores and their eligibility criteria. Form. Sc. Candidate must have Bachelors degree (Geology) and any two subjects among Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biological Science Physics. Also, the candidate must have passed 12th with Math as a mandatory subject. Form. Sc. In IITB Candidate must have passed graduation with both Mathematics and Physics for two years and at least one out of these two for three years. Form. Sc. Biotechnology in IITB and IITR Candidates must have done graduation degree in any of these (Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Engineering, and Medicine) branches. Form. Sc. Chemistry in IITG, IITK, IITB, IITD, IITM, and IITR Candidate must have done a graduate degree in chemistry and also candidate must have passed 12thwith mathematics. Form. Sc. Mathematics in IITB, IITD, IITK, and IITM Candidate must have done graduation with Math as a subject for minimum two years or four semesters. Form. Sc. Physics in IITB, IITD, IITG, IITK, IITM and IITR) or Joint. Sc. /Ph.D. (Physics) in IITK Candidate must have done graduation with Physics for minimum two years/ four semesters and also must have done graduation with math for at least one year or two semesters. Hello,I would suggest you to prepare by yourself for JAM Exam. This will save lots of your money and time. IIT JAM Exam is tough but if you prepare well, you can easily crack the exam. Start your preparation 7-8 months before the exam. This will give you enough time for the revision. Check complete syllabus and exam pattern. Refer best books and study materials. If you are interested in Computer Science the best thing you can do is take admission in one of the top IITs and IISc and they will take it from there. The courses you do other than Compulsory courses of the degree are very flexible in IITs and you can opt for the Computer Science subject, all of them anyway teaches Data Structure and Algorithmic Design with A language or two in course, you just have to pick the proper elective. Other than that, Mathematics and Computing (it's not a proper Computer Science course) offer a little extra that regular applied Mathematics courses. There is a lot of scope for changes and improvements once you get in, and it's tough to move another way, but a Mathematics Student and always just in, in Computer Science. So just choose a course with electives closer to the Computer Science Areas, like Informatics course in IITB or Mathematics and Computing in IIT Guwahati.
