No, Jamia Hamdard does not provide direct admission. The selection for BTech is based on JEE Main result. In case of delay in the conduct of JEE or if JEE candidates are not available, the university may offer admission based on merit of aggregate percentage of first five subjects of the qualifying examination. After completion of all the selection rounds, the university releases a selection list with the names of selected candidates. Such candidates recieve an email with further instructions. Aspirants need to pay their course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

As per the brochure released in the year 2023, candidates seeking admission to BTech must have passed Class 12 exams with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of the following: CS, Chemistry, or Electronics from CBSE or any other recognised board securing at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Followed by meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to qualify the Paper-1 of JEE Main exam conducted by NTA. The total tuition fee for BTech at Jamia Hamdard ranges between INR 7 Lacs and INR 8.8 lakh. Inclusive of both regular BTech and lateral entry programmes, this fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. BTech is one of the top courses of Jamia Hamdard University. NIRF ranked Jamia Hamdard at 79 under 'Overall' Category and 49 under 'University' Category. After completing the degree from Jamia Hamdard, BTech students can participate in the on-campus placement drive. Jamia Hamdard placement report 2023 is not released. However, according to Jamia Hamdard course-wise NIRF reports 2023, the median package offered during Jamia Hamdard BTech placements 2022 stood at INR 4.25 LPA. A rise of over 21% was witnessed in the BTech median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021.

Jamia Hamdard has not released the accepted JEE Main cutoff for BTech admission. However, aspirants need to fulfil the eligibiltiy and selection requirements for admission to BTech course. Jamia Hamdard accepts JEE Main for BTech admission. Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of the following: Computer Science, Chemistry, Electronics from CBSE or any other Board with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in aggregate to apply for BTech course.Check JEE Main College Predictor

Yes, Jamia Hamdard University offers four-year BTech programme spread across eight semesters. The university offers BTech in three specialisations, namely Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication and CSE Artificial Intelligence. The admission criteria for JHU BTech is entrance-based. The university considers the JEE Main score to offer admission to any of the BTech specialisation. Apart from fulfiling the admission criteria, candidates need to meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in relevant subjects for BTech.
