To be eligible for a B.A. in Political Science at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), you need to have completed your Class 12 with at least 50% marks in aggregate from the best five subjects, or you can qualify based on your marks in Political Science if you studied it. Jamia Millia Islamia is a well-known university, and one of its most unique features is its affordability. Tuition fee for all the departments at JMI ranges between 5,000 to 20,000 per year. Also, the hostel and mess fees are very minimal, totalling 38,000 for the entire year. Apart from this JMI has all the facilities including a sports complex, libraries, amphitheatre, auditorium, health centre, girls' and boys' hostel and many other things. Jamia Millia Islamia, an institution originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920 became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.
