To be eligible for the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) entrance exam, candidates must:  Have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50%Have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of core subjects and English LanguageHave a bachelor's degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in aggregateThe minimum qualifying marks for the JMI entrance exam are:  30% for descriptive questions15% for objective-type questionsThe JMI entrance exam has a weightage of 100 marks. There are 50 multiple choice (objective type) questions of one mark each and a set of subjective types of questions having a weightage of another 50 marks.  The last date of admission for all UG and PG programs is October 10, 2023, except BSc (Aeronautics), Diploma Engineering (Self-Finance), and Sports Category admissions. 

The placement rate recorded during JMI MCA placements 2023 was 70%. The top recruiters during JMI MCA placements 2023 included TCS, Accenture and HCL.
