No, Jamia Millia Islamia does not send the JMI Entrance Exam result by post to any candidate. The result has to be viewed online from the official website of JMI Exam. Candidates must check their scores and take a printout of the result till the admission process is complete. The JMI Entrance Exam result is declared in the form of merit list which contains the candidate's individual score and the cut off for every category. Candidates meeting the cut off will be called for counselling or interview (if required).

Jamia Millia Islamia will announce the JMI Entrance Exam 2023 result declaration on the official website. JMI will also inform candidates who had appeared for the exam through SMS and email. Various media portals and social media platforms will announce the declaration of results. Test takers must keep a check on the official websites as well as opt for notifications or alerts at the news and social media platforms to get instantly notified about the declaration of JMI Entrance Exam result.

No. The result of JMI Entrance Exam will be released on the basis of the level of programme. Usually results for M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes are released later, as the admission process for such programmes is different as compared to other ones like undergraduate and postgraduate. Moreover, the JMI Entrance Exam Result is released separately for each course. In some courses interview is also conducted after the written test while for some courses candidates have to appear for counseling based on the cut off released by the university. Jamia Millia Islamia offers Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Admission to this course is done through JMI Entrance Exam. Candidates who qualify the written test and meet the cut off declared by the university are called for counselling. The exam pattern for B.A. Political Science is such that it consists of four sections: English, General Awareness, Reasoning and Social Awareness. JMI Entrance Exam is conducted for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The exam pattern of all the courses is different. The pattern of some courses include only multiple choice questions, while some courses have a descriptive section as well. The pattern for JMI Entrance Exam 2023 for Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programme is such that it consists of three sections: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English. The duration of exam is of three hours and total 170 questions are asked from all the three sections. The questions are objective type and candidates have to fill the correct answer in the OMR sheet. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answer. Candidates shortlisted in the written exam will be called for group discussion and interview and candidates clearing both the rounds will have to appear for counselling.

The JMI Entrance Exam pattern for all the courses varies. According to the test format for Undergraduate programmes. The JMI Entrance Exam question paper most likely consists of 100 MCQ-type questions with a maximum score of 100. The question paper is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B, and the total time to complete the paper is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
