Yes, it is 100% possible to get into IIT Jammu for BTech with a JEE Advanced rank equal to or less than 12000. However, the same is not possible across all specialisations. General category students of All India Category can get into BTech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering branch if we go by the closing ranks of 2023. For getting a call from IIM Jammu, the minimum percentile required can depend on year-wise data. As per the trends, the cutoff percentile required is exceeding every year as there is fierce competition among students for admission to IIMs. Particularly for IIM Jammu cutoff 2023, the overall cutoff percentile required to get admission to the Indian Institute of Management Jammu through the Common Admission Test (CAT) is 90.
