T. techniques, leprosy nursing, T. B. nursing, community health nursing, cancer nursing, neurological and neurosurgical nursing, and orthopedic nursing. Students must be residents of the UT of Ladakh or the UT of J&K. For students belonging to the UT of Ladakh, the ST Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as a domicile Certificate. Eligibility criteria for GNM:
Students must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with Science, Arts, and English securing a min aggregate of 40 percent marks for the open category and 35 percent marks for the reserved category. Students with a 10+2 English Certificate who have received 40% of their marks in the vocational stream Health Care Science from a recognised CBSE board or center are also eligible. Students appearing in their final year of exams may also apply on a provisional basis. Students must be at least 17 years old and not more than 35 years old as of December 31, 2022. However, for lateral entry into GNM courses, candidates who have a Diploma in FMPHW, MMPHW, or an ANM course registered with the J&K Paramedical Nursing Council will be eligible for the GNM course, and there will be no age bar for such students.
