Candidates must obtain Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised institute with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent for reserved category candidates). All JBIMS applicants should have a valid score of at least one examination, namely. MAH CET/CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT.

Yes, there are many private MBA colleges which offer management quota seats. But you can't get direct admission in JBIMS or XLRI through management quota. You can get direct admission in MBA in top private b schools in India through management quota seats.

If the eligibility mentions CMAT, then no matter what the college will consider your application. If it doesn't mention CMAT, then the college is not going to give an exception for you.
