As per the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) admission is based  EAMCET (Engg, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test). However, the university other entrance exams for admission to its BTech courses. JNTUK also accepts JEE Main, AP ECET, and TS EAMCET for admission to the BTech course. Therefore, candidates can join  JNTU Kakinada BTech course without EAMCET but they must have exam scores of any one of the above mentioned exams.

Andhra University has a better national ranking and accreditation, perhaps because its campus is somewhat bigger and has better equipment. It also has a larger number of fields of study that one can pursue. Pharm admissions is quite tough minus a top rank as 15,063 in APEAMCET. Scoring Cs in Andhra U might be tough but not all that difficult, especially if you have category for SC which would then relax the cutoffsgboolean. Pharm: Yes, Andhra University granted the Pharm.
