A course-wise placements report has not been released by the university as of now. However, the JNU NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, in the 2022 placements drive for UG 3-year courses, a total of 21 students were placed out of 353 students while 332 students were selected for higher studies. In this course, candidates have to choose two optional courses of four semesters each from a list of disciplines. Some of the disciplines can choose from are History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Philosophy, Linguistics and Computer Sciences, English/Hindi/Urdu Literature, etc. These are conducted during the duration of the course. JNU accepts CUET-UG entrance test scores for admission to the BA (Hons) courses. Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG courses offered in all the participating institutions. Candidates seeking admission to the JNU BA (Hons) course must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

Yes, JNU offers foreign languages under its BA (Hons) programmes such as Arabic, Chinese, French and German among others. JNU offers a three-year full-time BA (Hons) course in English. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply for CUET-UG. Based on CUET-UG scores, JNU will release a merit list of selected candidates to appear for the CUET-UG counselling process for seat allotment.

For JNU BSc admission, candidates need to apply online for CUET. JNU BSc admission is completely entrance-based and depends upon candidates' performance in the CUET-UG entrance exam. Additionally, before filling out the application, aspirants must check out the eligibility criteria for this UG course. Based on the entrance exam score, the seats are allotted to the selected candidates through counselling. The seat is confirmed after the document verification.

For admission to a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes offered by JNU, CUET UG and CUET PG results are accepted. For BA (Hons), BSc, and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) degrees, the JNU CUET UG final merit list is anticipated to be made public on September 7. For a number of postgraduate programmes, the JNU PG second merit list has now been made public. Between September 1 and September 13, physical verification of admission and registration of chosen candidates will take place. The JNU CUET PG final merit list will also be made public on September 19.

JNU accepts CUET PG scores for admission to the PG courses. Candidates who have appeared for the CUET PG exam are only eligible to register for the admission process. The University has released the Round 1 of the CUET PG cutoff 2024 for JNU PG, PG Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.
