Candidates must take the English Language Content Test (ELCT) in order to be considered for admission to English-medium colleges. The candidate's graduation average must have been at least 50%.  The admission exam for the MAH B.Ed. is much needed. It might not be possible to get into this college in any other way for the B.Ed program.

Jayawantrao Sawant College of Education offers only B.Ed course that helps preparing teachers with adequate training in field of education. However other institutes of Jayawantrao Sawant group provide all UG and PG courses for students.

The highest package was approximately 14 LPA, while the lowest was approximately 3 LPA. Prominent hiring firms that come to the campus to make placements include Infosys, TCS, Zensar, Capgemini, Wipro, and Wipro.Over 70% of the students were placed by the college. IT placements are quite good with average packages of 6lpa.
