Faculty of JIIT is not that bad though most of the study depends on the student itself but the faculty is really helpful.

Missing T1 or T2 will have no impact on a student's academia but attending T3 examinations is mandatory for each student else he/she will have to repeat the subject again irrespective of his/her marks. T1 examinations are held first then followed by T2 and then T3 in the end of the semester.

CGPA is calculated on the basis of the relative marks of a student. If you have scored more than average students then your grade will be more than that of others irrespective of your marks. Similarly, if you have scored less than others then your grade will be less than others no matter even if you have scored 18 out of 20.

The placement rates of the college are not that bad for CSE students. Almost 100% of the students get placed each year. In case of recession, then yes, getting placement becomes a little tough but college does its best to place each and every student. For other departments, like ECE and Biotech, companies do come but they expect you to have knowledge of computer as well.
