JEE Advanced Application Form

Candidates who desire to avail the services of a scribe need to opt for this during the online registration of JEE Advanced. Note that the scribe will help the candidate only in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers as per the directions of the candidate. A scribe will NEITHER explain the questions NOR suggest any solutions.To avail the services of a scribe in JEE Advanced, the candidate must submit a request to the Chairperson of JEE (Advanced) 2025 at the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT, using the prescribed format and providing the required certificates. The Zonal Coordinating IITs will coordinate with the Test Centre Administrator (TCA) to arrange a panel of scribes (amanuenses). The scribes will be Class XI students from the Science stream, with Mathematics as one of their subjects. Candidates with disabilities (PwD), severe dyslexia, or those with less than 40% disability and difficulty in writing, must select a scribe from this panel. Candidates are not permitted to bring their own scribes. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet the panel of scribes one day before the exam, in the presence of IIT Representatives (IRs), the Test Centre Administrator (TCA), and an Invigilator, to choose their scribe.

The PWD category candidates need the below given documets to apply for JEE Advanced:Physical Disability certificate (Unique Disability Identification (UDID) Certificate or FORM-PwD (II)/FORM-PwD (III)/FORM-PwD (IV),  whichever is applicable) issued by the notified medical authority.Dyslexic candidates need to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC-1 and FORMDYSLEXIC-2 instead of FORM-PwD. The certificate must mention 'SEVERE' under Dyslexia category to enable the candidate to get the benefit of PwD category.Individual IITs constitute medical boards at the time of admission to test the candidate's level of disability, where the candidate has not submitted the UDID certificate.Other than the above, the below given documents shall be also needed:Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or birth certificate.Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate [for those who appeared first time for this examination in 2024 or 2025 or whose Board declared the Class XII (or equivalent examination) result of academic session 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023]. If the marksheet of Class XII (or equivalent examination) for 2025 is available, then it must be uploaded.If the candidate's name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.

Candidates belonging to SC or ST categories have to keep the below given documents ready to apply for JEE Advanced:Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (FORM-SC/ST), as per the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If any SC/ST candidate fails or is unable to submit the SC/ST certificate at the time of online registration, the candidate has to upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of SC/ST Certificate) to that effect.Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or birth certificate.Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate [for those who appeared first time for this examination in 2024 or 2025 or whose Board declared the Class XII (or equivalent examination) result of academic session 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023]. If the marksheet of Class XII (or equivalent examination) for 2025 is available, then it must be uploaded.If the candidate's name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.

The following documents will be needed to apply for JEE Advanced if you belong to the GEN-EWS category:GEN-EWS certificate (FORM-GEN-EWS) should have been issued on or after April 01, 2025 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.If any GEN-EWS candidate fails or is unable to submit the GEN-EWS certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2025) at the time of online registration, the candidate has to upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of GEN-EWS Certificate) to that effect.Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or birth certificate.Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate [for those who appeared first time for this examination in 2024 or 2025 or whose Board declared the Class XII (or equivalent examination) result of academic session 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023]. If the marksheet of Class XII (or equivalent examination) for 2025 is available, then it must be uploaded.If the candidate's name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.

Since JEE Advanced form can be filled by candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2024 cutoff, only such candidates can register for JEE Advanced. candidates have to authenticate themselves using JEE Main 2024 application number, their name and date of birthCandidates have to furnish some details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from the JEE Main 2024 database.Next candidates need to enter the scanned documents as per the specificationsNext, candidates have to remit the application fee as applicable. The mode of payment available is online only.For the sake of proof of JEE Advanced 2024 registration, print the registration receipt.

If you have forgotten your JEE Main application number, you can recover it using the following options:Check your email or mobile for a message consisting of your JEE Main application number sent during registration.Check your printout of the confirmation page for the application number.Contact NTA authorities to know your application number.Once you have recovered your JEE Main application number, you can use it to login and fill out the JEE Advanced application form. If you are unable to remember your password, you can reset it using the forgot password option available on the official website of JEE Advanced.Please note that the JEE Advanced application form can only be filled out by those candidates who have qualified the JEE Main cutoff. Therefore, before filling out the form, make sure you have qualified the JEE Main exam.
