To be eligible for JoSAA counseling in 2025, candidates must fulfill certain conditions. This includes getting a rank in either JEE Main 2025 Paper-1 or JEE Advanced 2025 exams. Minimum grades or percentage requirements for grade 12 exams also apply. A minimum of 75% is required for general category candidates, while a minimum of 65% is required for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Also you can be in top 20% based on your 12th standard. In addition, JoSAA participating institutes may have their own eligibility criteria for specific programs. JEE Advance examination conducted once in a year and rank in that examination consider for admission. I think you are asking about consecutive two attempts given by a candidate in advance examination and about best of them, so I want to clear you that your rank of each year will consider only in that year for taking admission in college, it will not count in next attempt or year.

The NIRF ranking of NIT Raipur for engineering is 63. While 15 is for SVNIT Surat. So SVNIT Surat is the best for pursuing B.Tech Electrical course.
