You are not likely to be eligible for JEE Advanced because the cutoff percentile for JEE Advanced is usually higher, even with an 81.9 percentile in JEE Main 2022 and being from the OBC-NCL category. The total number of candidates and the distribution of scores will determine your OBC-NCL rank; however, in order to assure eligibility, it is usually advised to aim for a higher percentile.

No. Candidates who appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2025. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. Since you have appeared for class 12 boards for the first time in 2023 you are NOT eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

There isn't a single minimum score to get into any IIT. You need to qualify the JEE Advanced exam which is tougher than JEE Main. While 85 percentile in JEE Main is good, for IITs, you generally aim for a higher score, like 250+ or 85-95 percentile range. This translates to securing a rank typically above 4500 in JEE Advanced. Cutoff scores change every year, so a good score puts you in a competitive spot for IIT admissions.

If your Common Rank List (CRL) rank is within 1 Lacs and you belong to the GEN-EWS category, you are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced in terms of ranks are determined each year by the organizing body, and they usually consider candidates who are within a certain percentile cutoff of the respective categories. Since you fall within the 1 Lacs rank range, you meet the eligibility criteria for appearing in the JEE Advanced exam. However, it's always a good idea to double-check the official notification or website of the JEE Advanced conducting authority for the most accurate and up-to-date inf
