No, you can't. To appear in JEE Advanced Exam, you need to first qualify the JEE Main Exam. Only then, you can take the JEE Advanced Exam. If you want to take the JEE Advanced Exam then, you should also have to satisfy the other eligibility factors. JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on 27th May 2019. So, prepare yourself well.

Hello Vishal,
You have scored a percentile that is above 85. It is expected that this year around 3,00,000 students out of almost 10 lacs who appeared will be cleared to appear for JEE Advanced. This is about 30% of the total number, which translates into a percentile of 70. As you have scored more than 85, I am sure you will be in the cleared list of candidates who can appear for JEE Advanced. However, I would like to advise you to have patience till the end of the month before which national testing agency is expected to announce ranking as well as the clearance to take JEE Advanced.

Hello Krishna,
It's very nice to hear from you that you want to take admission in a college that accepts JEE Mains ranking as the criteria for giving admission. Yes, there are plenty of private or other engineering colleges in India which accept students for admission based on their ranking in JEE Mains. I am attaching a link that will give you the complete list of such colleges including of course IIT and NIT which you can ignore if you want.

It is upto cut-off of this year. So, you have to wait for the result announcement and cut-off declaration. Only then, you come to know you are eligible or not. But as you said, you have been attempted 260 marks question according to me you should be eligible if you have been attended atleast 150 marks right question.
Best of luck.

Hello Prathyush,
I personally feel that a percentile of above 75 will surely make a student qualify for JEE Advanced. This do because, there is a strict meaning of percentile. 90 means (100-90)=10 percent of students are ahead of you. Now this year about 3L students our of possible 11L are expected to be cleared. Approximately 70 percentile would be the percentile that can make a student clear JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.
