JEE Main 2023 cutoff has been raised to 90 percentile for the General category, while the IIT JEE Cut off 2023 for OBC-NCL is 73.6114227, EWS is 75.6229025, SC is 51.9776027, and ST is 37.2348772.
60 percent in board is enough to qualify for IIT. The newsletter also emphasis on 12th score.

If the JEE Advanced aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks: Step 1: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank. If the tie breaking criterion at Step 1 fails to break the tie, then the following criterion at Step 2 will be followed. Step 2: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. No, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check JEE Advanced 2024 result. The exam conducting authority will not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Therefore candidates have to accept the scores of the exam as declared by the authority as the final ones. JEE Advanced 2024 AIR will be used for JoSAA counselling in the allotment of seats in the IITs. Candidates who have secured more than or equal to JEE Advanced cutoff I. e. the minimum marks in each subject and in aggregate as prescribed by the IITs will pass JEE Advanced 2024. It is highly unlikely that you can score 200 in JEE Advanced in just one month if you have not prepared at all. The JEE Advanced is a highly competitive exam that requires consistent and dedicated preparation over a period of time.

The score of both paper are added together subject wise. If 2 students have scored same marks then the one with the higher marks in mathematics will get better rank.
