There is another rank which is given, apart from CRL, called as JEE Advanced Preparatory Rank. For example, if your JEE Advanced Preparatory Rank is 150, then it will be written as 150-P. It is completely different from CRL and it has a different meaning also. Let's know more about it. The vacant seats reserved for SC, ST and PwD candidates will be allotted to the candidates of respective categories for admission to a preparatory course of one-year duration on the basis of relaxed admission criteria. Admission is given to the candidates in the preparatory course provided

If your category rank (OBC Rank) is 3032, then the IITs available to you are:-
1] IIT Dhanbad - Geophysics (5 Y)
2] IIT BHU - Bio (5 Y)
3] IIT Kharagpur - Applied Geology (5 Y)
Unless you need the IIT Tag to flaunt in front of your relatives and unless you have some specific interest in these fields or unless you are planning to work hard to get a vertical branch transfer, go for NITs on the basis of your Mains rank or go for a drop. If your Open Rank is 3032, then you have a lot to choose from: - (The best options in no specific order, according to me are chosen as there are 50 and more branches open)
1] IIT Delhi Chemical (Dual Degree)
2]

Your chances of getting IITs under the asked category are very low. The total number of seats in IITs in B.Tech courses are about 16234, and as per reservation, 2435 seats are reserved for asked category. So your rank should be below 2435.

IIITD has a system of bonus marks, and if you are an inside Delhi candidate then you can apply for bonus marks using your 12th percentage (if you're in top 1 percentile of CBSE, last year it was 95.2%). But if somehow you are not eligible for bonus marks through any of the categories (sports, Olympiad etc. ). Then you need to solely depend on your JEE Mains marks for admission, but you would need atleast 80 marks in Maths + 80% in best of 5 subjects (including PCM) in 12th boards to be eligible for admission.

You are not qualified because you will not consider for seats allotment in counselling. However the candidates having preparatory rank will be considered for admission for vacant seats of SC/ST/PWD in IITs after successful completion of training of one year in IITs.
