You will have to clear JEE Mains once again and should be in the top two and a half Lacs candidates who clear JEE Mains to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This is the most fundamental and mundane criteria that I am saying. No absolutely not required. Once you have passed your 12th standard from CBSE that is good enough for or appearing for JEE Advanced. However, a student can not appear to advance directly. The student needs first to clear JEE Mains and octane marks more than cutoff specified then only the student can appear for JEE Advanced. In addition to this, the student must score more than 75% marks in 12th standard for getting admission in any college which is based on JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you.
