Hello Karthikey, it's very nice to know your enthusiasm to know about the percentile that is required to be scored in JEE Mains for a student to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. However it's too early to speculate about this matter. 72.8887969 this was the percentile for OBC students to be obtained to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced for the year that has just gone by. My opinion is that it would remain in the similar range maybe plus-minus few percentiles in the coming year also. But it all depends on how the students score in this year in JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.

Hello,
You will have to clear JEE Mains once again and should be in the top two and a half Lacs candidates who clear JEE Mains to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This is the most fundamental and mundane criteria that I am saying. The other detailed criteria and information is available in the link that I am attaching. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/jee-advanced-exam
Best wishes to you.

Hi, Admissions to different graduation programs of different branches of engineering in all the IITs are based on the ranking of JEE Advanced. Students also need to give JEE Mains and also obtained marks above the cutoff level to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. In addition a student is expected to score at least 75% in the board examination to become eligible for admission into IIT. Best wishes.

Hello,
No absolutely not required. Once you have passed your 12th standard from CBSE that is good enough for or appearing for JEE Advanced. However, a student can not appear to advance directly. The student needs first to clear JEE Mains and octane marks more than cutoff specified then only the student can appear for JEE Advanced. In addition to this, the student must score more than 75% marks in 12th standard for getting admission in any college which is based on JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you.
