The eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced is to qualify the JEE Main exam conducted twice (January and April) every year. So you have two chances for appearing in JEE Main exam. The best score of JEE Main will be considered for JEE Advanced if qualify. So it is suggested here that you have to appear in 12th exam, so that you can participate in JEE Main exam in year 2021.
