If you mistakenly apply any wrong certificate during application of JEE Mains, then that will be rejected afterwards but after result, how can you put changes in that, since now you don't have EWS category rank. So, there is no profit of that. But still, try with the relevant EWS category certificate, since it is in consideration for the very first time.

It is the paper of JEE Advanced, it can never be predictable as every year it has different patterns, different level of complexity, so there might be increase or decrease or it might remain same.

The qualifying marks which has been released when the results came out won't go down. Once released, the minimum marks will stay and won't be reduced at any cost. No issues, you can always post your 12th certificate Xerox to JEE officials and also, try contacting the JEE officials through phone for the best way to send the details.
