Hi Dharshan,
You can appear once in class 12th and then next year only, for JEE advance. Yes, you can get admission in IITs if you work hard and clear JEE Advanced.
Best of luck.

Qualifying in an exam isn't enough for you to get admission in NITs or IITs. You should secure less rank then only you can get admission in any of the Institutes as the seats are every limited.

There is nothing like minimum marks in JEE Advanced. You just need to qualify this exam and you will be eligible to participate in the counselling process to get admission in any college. So, I would suggest you secure a good rank in JEE Advanced to get a good college or a seat in IIPE-Visakhapatnam. Give your best in JEE Advanced.
Best of luck.

According to the data, 2.5 lakh students are nearly selected for JEE Advance 2019 but I think, nearly 1.7 lakh will give JEE Advance exam because of the matching date with other exams like WBJEE, etc. Also, JEE Advance is quite tougher as compared to other papers.

Officially you are not eligible to give JEE Advanced if you change your category. Please do not change it as at the time of admission all the details are checked thoroughly and you will be at a mess if they recognise you have changed the category anywhere. So, keep it as it is and if you're not satisfied with this year's rank then drop a year and give the examination once again.
All the best.
