No, there is no oecentile marks. The marks in JEE Advanced result is the raw marks scored by the candidates. The marks are simply calculated using the making scheme of the exam and is totalled to get the aggregate marks scored by the candidates. This marks form the basis of the JEE Advanced ranks.

Yes. Initially the JEE Advanced cutoff is released with the information brochure of the exam. Howver, the cutoff is usually revised and published again with the JEE Advanced result.

Yes. However, candidates must also have minimum of 75% marks in class 12 boards in minimum of five subjects (SC, ST and PwD candidates should have at least 65%) for IIT admissions.

The last date to challenge the JEE Advanced answer key is May 27. To challenge the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates have to visit the JEE Advanced official website and then ogin using JEE Advanced application number and password. Next, candidates have to click on the link to challenge the answer key and then mark the number of questions whose answer is to be challenged. candidates might have to upload the documents in support of objections and pay fees (if applicable) and finally click on submit button to challenge the key.

If a question is wrong in the JEE Advanced exam, then one of the following steps is taken by the examination authority:Sometimes marks are awarded only to those students who had attempted the question weather right or wrong.Sometimes the wrong questions are totally rejected from question paper and marks and ranking given on the remaining right questions.Sometimes marks are given to all students weather they attempted the question or not.It is not always the same. Thus one cannot determine before hand whether everyone gets marks or only those who attempted that question will get the marks.

IIT Kanpur will release the official JEE Advanced 2025 answer keys on May 26. The candidates can challenge the JEE Advanced provisional answer keys online under their logins from May 26 to May 27. The final answer key alongwith the result will be out on June 2.
