JEE Advanced Cutoff 2018-
IIT Kanpur has released the extended merit list for qualified candidates on June 14th. The authorities released the qualifying JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff along with the result on June 10th. Candidates securing a rank below the qualifying cutoff of JEE Advanced 2018 will not be considered eligible for admissions. In other words, candidates have to secure a rank above JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff to secure a seat. Candidates must note that the qualifying cutoff is not the same as the admission cutoff used at the time of JoSAA counselling.

Hi Vethika,
Yes, you will have to crack JEE advance with good marks to get admission in IITs. If you score around 50% in advance then there is a high probability that you will get an old IIT with a branch of your choice. For getting into NIT, IIIT's and other good colleges you must crack JEE Mains.

You have cleared KVPY or IISERS also admit 25% of candidates on the basis of performance in class 12 boards whose cut-off varies year to year. Generally, marks above 30/60 are enough to get admission in any IISER.

For cracking these two exams (i.e. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced), you need to follow some best study strategies like-
1. Do smart work rather than hard work.
2. Solve NCERT as well as reference books problems of PCM.
3. Optional: Join any good JEE coaching institute.
4. Solve last year question paper of JEE exams.

If your question relates to someone else, I must share that in India Scholarships are more of 'Specific' scope and availability. Like Caste Based Reservation is sometimes restricted to state residents and many such benefits as well it is unlikely that a foreigner can avail a scholarship just by getting into IIT. It is also to be noted that for someone joining IIT from. Abroad, the Academic Credentials, IIT Ranking as well as other credentials can get some financial support from his own country. It should be considered Tough to get such MCM for Foreigners.
