Hello Rushikesh,
For admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, your JEE Mains score alone is considered and not JEE Advanced score. So, if you mention your score and rank including category rank then I may tell whether you can get any NIT or not.

There is no benefit of doubt. But this year, the cut-off is a little high as compared to previous year, but surely I think you can get a good branch at an average IIT or good IIT with an average branch.

You can get IIT Kharagpur .a friend of mine with the similar rank got IIT Kharagpur last year.You may get mining at IIT Dhanbad (ISM).You can try lower IITs for good branch.

HBTI Kanpur is a state government institute of Uttar Pradesh state.
The admission to B.Tech. courses at HBTI Kanpur is done on the basis of merit in
U.P. State Engineering Entrance Examination I.e. UPSEE.
The 10% of the total intake is filled on the basis of merit in AIEEE (students of UP only may apply).
There is no provision of admission in HBTI Kanpur, through IIT-JEE rank.
You can't appear the UPSEE counselling on the basis of IIT-JEE score.
If you are a UP domicile student and you have appeared AIEEE or UPSEE then only
you can apply for admission in HBTI Kanpur
