The cut-off marks for JEE Advanced varies from year to year and also depends on the category you belong to. As per the latest information available, the qualifying cut-off for JEE Mains 2022 for general category students was 89.7548849 percentile, which corresponds to a score of 105 marks out of 300. As you have mentioned that you have scored 72 marks in JEE Mains 2nd attempt in 2022, it is unlikely that you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 as you did not meet the qualifying cut-off for the general category. As you have scored 97.52 percentile, according to me it is pretty good score and as you are not confident about JEE Advanced but still I would urge you to attempt JEE Advanced and try it out. I'm sure you will outperform yourself. And now instead of JEE Advanced you can get into NITs or you can fill the forms of other private colleges. You will get into good colleges with this score.

For JEE Advanced paper, you need to be an allrounder. You should have good memorizing power and all the concepts should be crystal clear. Both are interconnected to score good marks in JEE Advanced. All the best.

It is not easy to get an NIT but you easily get IIITs with this rank. You should try to upgrade your marks in the 2nd session. So focus on that.

It's important to note that the admission to IITs through JEE Advanced is a highly competitive process and the cutoff marks keep changing every year based on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available. To give you a rough idea, in the previous years, the minimum marks required to get admission in CSE at IIT Bombay have ranged from the mid-90s to low-100s out of a total of 360 marks in JEE Advanced.

It all depends on the state in which you live
if that state has a decent mid level NIT then with the help of state quota you will sure get B.Tech in it otherwise chances are sleek.
