Cracking JEE Advanced means qualifying for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), but it does not guarantee admission to an IIT. Admissions to IITs are based on a candidate's All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced and their availability of seats in a particular IIT and programme. Additionally, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the IITs, such as minimum cut-off marks, age limit, etc.

No, it is not necessary to clear JEE Advanced to get admission to NITs (National Institutes of Technology). Admissions to NITs are based on the JEE Main scores, which is a separate exam. However, NITs also consider JEE Advanced scores for a limited number of seats under their direct admission of students abroad (DASA) scheme.

To get admission to the top IITs, an approximate rank within the top 2000-2500 is required in JEE Advanced. However, the exact cut-off varies every year based on various factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and available seats.

Yes, you can get admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) based on your JEE Mains score, even if you do not clear the JEE Advanced. The admission process for NITs and IIITs is based on the JEE Mains score and the rank secured by the candidate. However, the eligibility criteria and admission process may vary among different institutes, so it is advisable to check their individual websites for detailed information.

All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterward, JEE Advanced. Only the top 2, 24,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE Advanced. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards.
