I'd like to tell you that you must be able to score 75% marks in +2 as a min. eligibility in order to appear for JEE Mains. JEE Mains consists of two papers- paper-1 (For B.Tech admission in NITs, GFTIs, also need to qualify JEE Mains to appear for JEE Advanced) paper-2 ( or B.Arch admission in NITs and SPAs). If you are interested in pursuing B.Tech in IIT, you need to qualify in JEE Mains and should appear for JEE Advanced. Also, you need to appear for AAT if you want to pursue B.Arch in IIT. JEE Mains is regarded as one of the most competitive exams so you need to excel every topic of the syllabus in order to gain an upper hand.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in SASTRA University. The forms are available at www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10th. You can apply through stream 1 as you have appeared for JEE Mains exam.

Government colleges in West Bengal do not accept JEE Mains scor5e. They conduct their own exam called WBJEE, so you have to score good marks in WBJEE to get admission here.
