You should devote minimum 6 hours daily for study. You should have to concentrate fully on your studies in that time period to secure a better future. There should be no day lap in your studies if you are studying less than 10 hours daily. You should have to manage your time in that way so that you should study an average of 8-10 hours. You have to increase your sitting day by day if you want to crack entrance exam in any field.

Cut-off marks are 0.25% minus for one wrong answer. Any candidate below 22 years of age with class 12 as English one of the subject can apply for the entrance exam.

From this year onwards, class 12th results do not have any weight-age in JEE Mains and Advanced exam, but you need to score a minimum of 75% if you belong to general or OBC category. It is required to get admission in IITs and NITs.

To appear for JEE Advanced you need to be in top 20% in your respective board or either score at least 75% in the same.

No, it is not necessary. You can choose any place in India for improvement exam center. But, you state quota will be considered where you have appeared for 12th boards for the first time.

You can look for admission in NITs and other good colleges are DTU, SRM-Chennai, KIIT-Bhubaneshwar, Thapar University and COE-Pune.

Hello Chintan,
First, you have to be eligible to appear for JEE Mains. Once you appear in this exam, it will decide your chances of admission in NIT. You must score minimum of 75% marks in class 12th or have to be in top 20 percentile. This will enable you to appear for JEE Mains.

Hi,
You can not appear for JEE with commerce stream, you need to have physics, chemistry and maths as the compulsory subjects in class 12th to appear for JEE.
