Practice previous year papers
It will help candidates in understanding how questions have been asked in previous years, difficulty level of questions, topics with weightage. Practicing the previous year question papers will also help in your JEE preparation level and evaluate how much you need to study.

Take proper breaks, remember your brain is not a computer and needs proper rest. Start studying for the exams in advance and don't leave everything for the last moment. Study the toughest topic first, if you can, wake up early and revise the topics you are the least confident about. Make a proper timetable and allot time for each topic, give yourself deadlines for proper time management.

Keep calm and try active recall study method. Focus more on the topics that you're not confident about and remember to take breaks cause your brain can't manage all that information in on sitting.

Yes you can surely drop from your college if you wish but it must not be too late in the course duration. You can continue your present study and attempt JEE to get admission in NIT or IIIT. Also you can continue your present study and prepare for GATE and then move to NIT or IIT for M.Tech.
