The ST category rank cannot be determined directly from the All India Rank (AIR) and percentile. The number of students in the ST category and their performance are considered to determine the ST category rank. The ST category rank is normally determined by taking the rank distribution of the category as a whole and the percentile estimates your position relative to other students.
