Separate admissions for JEE Mains scores (for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs) and JEE Advanced scores (for IITs). They both have different cut off scores and hence, you will have a different ranking for each exam. The admission is completely based on AIR which is through the JoSAA counseling.

Hello Krishna Kumar,
The analysis of the first of the two sets of JEE Mains that NTA is going to conduct has shown mixed reactions. My guess is it would be a little higher than last year. But I would rather wait for the completion of second test before making any guesses.

Hello,
I feel this is enough for scoring 60+ but you must be completely known with these books and the questions in it. Moreover, there are many big books for reference, if you are gonna write this year you won't be able to complete atleast half of those books of RD Sharma, etc. Well, these are very good for reference.
Good luck.

In first year, you will go through laplace transform, matrix, differential equation and so on. As far as computing is concerned, you will go through basic C or C+ programming. If you already have great command on these topics mentioned above you will attain slight edge among your peers.

The eligibility criteria for JEE Mains counselling is to just appear for the JEE Mains paper, whether you have qualified the exam or not.
You are eligible for the counselling, but yes, if you haven't secured 75% marks in the boards exams, then you are not eligible for admission in any of the colleges through Mains counselling.
