The process of JEE Main counselling and seat allotment consists of several processes. Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she has the option of Accept and Freeze and Accept and Float. If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and selects the first option, he/she cannot participate in the next round counselling. If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can select the second option trough which he/she can participate in the next round counselling with the current seat.
