For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are 65% marks in class XII.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria For NITs, IIITs, And CFTIs Admissions. To secure admission in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, students need to achieve a minimum of 75% in their 12th class for JEE Mains 2025 or be among the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exams (65% for SC/ST candidates).Candidates must note that there is no requirement of 75% marks in class for appearing in JEE Mains. The JEE Main eligibility criteria of minimum 75% marks in class 12 is required at the time of admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates can apply and appear in JEE Mains 2025 irrespective of their class 12 marks.

NTA JEE Main eligibility criteria for candidates to appear in the exam isThere is no minimum or maximum percentage required to appear in JEE Main. No, 75 percent in class 12th is not mandatory to appear in JEE MAINS Entrance Examination. However, it is required for top engineering Institutes like IITs or NITs . Hence, the score being termed as a mandatory requirement for top engineering colleges. However if you are looking for other private engineering colleges, candidates can seek admission in sixty percent or even less in some colleges.To know more about JEE MAINS Entrance Examination, refer to the official website of JEE.

According to the latest notice, National Testing Agency (NTA), there is no age limit to apply for JEE Main . Candidates who have passed or giving the examination prior to three years or in the same year that they are appearing for JEE Main in, can apply for the examination. This means that, the candidates who have completed their 12th in the year 2022,2023 or  are going to in 2024 are eligible to apply for the JEE MAIN Entrance Examination. To know more about the JEE MAIN Entrance Examination, refer to the official website of JEE.

Candidates can appear for JEE Main 2024 exam.The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2024 examination.But, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute (s) to which they are desirous of taking admission. If you want to take admission in prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs and IIITs, then it is mandatory for you to have 75 percent in class 12th exam.For appearing in the JEE Main exam 2024 there is no minimum percentage criteria.
