The minimum age limit for JEE Main is 17 years. For General & OBC: As per the JEE Main Eligibility 2018, the candidates must have born after 1st October 1993 i.e. they must not age more than 24 Years while appearing in the exam. Originally every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. Jul 18, 2018.

Cutoff is not the criteria. It depends on All India Rank, if it is better than INR. 1.2 lakhs, you do stand a good chance.

You have asked a very critical enquiry. I say so because you have done 12th and also Diploma. What it means is that you have passed Diploma in 2017 and if you had done this after your 12th then you must have passed 12th at least three years before. Normally for getting admission in NIT or IIT etc. , 3 years window is provided but IIT's also accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th. But I am afraid, my own reading tells me that you are not eligible. But you can still seek clarification on an individual basis from NTA or the agency conducting the exam.

No, you cannot eligible for JEE examination.
Candidates still can appear in JEE Main exam three times in three consecutive years. For more query we can visit on this

1) The latest press release by MHRD mentioned that performance of 12th class will be required only for eligibility for admission in IIT, NIT and similar institutes.
2) For the candidates to qualify in the JEE Examination, they shall have secured
At least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students this condition shall be relaxed to 65% marks. 12thboards marks will not be given 40% weightage in 2017 for calculation of ranks as in the selection criteria for admission in an IIT for 2016.
3) Rest of the selection process will remain unchanged for admission in IITs
