Hi,
According to the eligibility criteria for IIT JEE 2018. If you have cleared 12th Board, then you are eligible to appear for the JEE Mains 2018 exam.
To get detailed information for IIT JEE 2018, visit www.eduncle.com/iit-jee
If you are planning to get admission in any IIT, NIT, or IIIT, then you have to score at least 75% in your 12th boards. Those who have scored less than 75% in 12th can still give the JEE Mains exam and then they can use its scorecard to get admission in other private colleges of India.

Hi,
The percentage of best four subjects is counted. For eligibility you should have overall 75% and also 75% or more individually in those subjects.

It all depends, like if you do not have 75% marks 12th, then in order for being eligible for admission through JEE, you have to take the improvement exam. But JEE will accept that scorecard only when you have given the improvement in all the 5 subjects.
For exact details visit- www.eduncle.com/iit-jee
Since the JEE doesn't want to look at your two different report cards and calculating the percentage on the basis of them.
So, if you have scored more than 75%, then there is no need for giving the improvement in all the 5 subjects, as you are already eligible for JEE exam.

Hello friend,
The official notification is not released for IIT JEE 2018. But there are few changes in the exam criteria.
For example, there will be no effect of the 12th board exam on the final score of IIT JEE. Previously, 12th marks had some weightage included in the final IIT JEE marks. So from 2018, this is not going to happen in IIT JEE.
Hope this will help.
Best of luck!

Hello Sahil,
You are eligible for appearing in IIT JEE 2018, but according to the eligibility criteria for admissions in various IITs, NITs and CFTIs you are not eligible for admission in these colleges. You need at least 75% in class 12th for being eligible for admission in these colleges.
Do not worry, you can use your scorecard for admission in various good private colleges also. Many good colleges also take admissions on the basis of JEE Mains scorecard. So don't lose your hope.
Hope this will help you.
Best of luck.

Of course not. If you have a compartment in Mathematics, then you only need to appear in improvement exam. After clearing all subjects, you will be eligible for JEE Mains.

I think there is a provision, but if you fail to qualify then the second attempt score will be considered, I request you to contact the board for clarification.

Hello Keshav,
There are certain number of attempts for JEE Mains and Advanced. There are 3 attempts for JEE Mains and 2 attempts for JEE Advanced.
So, if you have appeared only once, then you may have to discontinue B.Sc if you qualify JEE Mains and Advanced in the second attempt.
