Admission to a specific college or branch based on JEE Main percentile can vary depending on factors such as the number of available seats, competition, and the category you belong to. With a 72 percentile mark in JEE Main it may be challenging to secure admission to top-tier colleges or popular branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in renowned institutes. However, there are several colleges that offer CSE branches and have a relatively lower fee structure. Some of these colleges may consider candidates with a percentile around 72. It's important to note that specific college rankings and fee structures can change over time,

With a JEE Main percentile of 68, your chances of securing admission to the top-ranking colleges for B.Tech in Computer Science may be limited as the competition is quite high. However, there are still several good colleges where you may have opportunities for admission. Here are a few colleges that you can consider:
1. National Institute of Technology (NITs): Some NITs may offer admission to candidates with AJEE Main percentile of 68. Examples include NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Sikkim, NIT Manipur, and NIT Mizoram. These institutes have good faculty, infrastructure, and placement records.

However, admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is highly competitive, and the cutoffs vary each year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants. While IITs do have reserved seats for students from Scheduled Castes (SC), the cutoffs for SC candidates can still be quite high. To increase your chances of admission to an IIT, you will need to perform exceptionally well in the subsequent stages of the admission process, particularly in JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the next level of the entrance exam after JEE Main and only the top candidates from JEE Main are eligibl

You have very low chances of getting admission in any of the NITs based on your JEE Main percentile score and category rank. Try for admission in private colleges through state counselling.

Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors:
Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

Hello Prateek Kumar, if I may say so you are percentile at 52.24 is a bit on the lower side. Also if this percentile for your category is lower than the one decided by National testing agency as cut off percentile than you cannot participate in the process of counselling for getting admissions in NIT or equivalent institute. However, if your own state is considering this examination as the entrance examination for admissions to different engineering colleges then of course you have still affair chance of getting admitted in one of the colleges. Shiksha has generated one programme called college predictor for JEE Mains examination takin

Hi Aspirant
You have got very less marks. Its time for you to prepare again for JEE 2024. You should not waste your time thinking what you will get with this marks. Your rank will be around 6-7 Lacs and with this rank you won't be eligible for any good college. Hope you understood.
