Please allow me to tell that you did not perform well on this test, B Krammer. In the first session, roughly 8 Lac students showed up, and you scored at about the 50% percentile. This means that almost 400 000 students have obtained higher scores than you. For JEE Advanced eligibility as well as admission to NIT and other government-funded institutions, NTA chooses the top 2,500,000 students. Along with the findings of the second session, which will start on July 25th, they will be announcing. You must achieve a score higher than the national testing agency's cutoff percentage in order to be admitted to any NIT. Even if you haven't addressed it here, I'm certain you are aware of your percentile. I've included a link created by Shiksha that will forecast the likely college or NIT you'll go depending on your test scores. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
I wish you well.

Good day, Aritra Ghosh. Nearly 8L students have signed up for JEE Mains this year. Your nearly 60 percentile score indicates that 40% of the 3.2 L or 8L students that took the test scored higher than you. Additionally, practically all students choose CSE as their first choice. Because of this, I believe you have no chance at all of being admitted to this branch. However, I have provided a website below that will forecast the branch and college you can go depending on your percentile in order to assist you. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
I wish you well.

Fill the college from the highest cutoff to at the worst 95 of last year's and preferably I guess you will get CSE in not se reputed college but might get non tech in prime NIT like Warangal so it depends on your opinion bta branch and college and I would say have CSAB councelling do not forget that you might get both from there.

I want to clear one thing that IITs are allotted on the basis of JEE advance rank not JEE Mains rank and at 86 percentile, he will not be able to grab any NITs.

Its better to write about the Home state name you belongs. However JEE Main percentile between 90-95 is good enough for NITs in the asked category.
