The final AIR will be declared after April 2019 considering the best score out of the two JEE Main attempts for all the applicants, hence based on current percentile we cannot predict whether you will qualify or not. Wait for the final AIR declaration

JEE Main Percentile is calculated to compare marks among candidates. To be more specific, percentile the number below which a certain percentage of scores or observations fall. For example, consider the candidate's mark is calculated as 80 percentile. This means 80 percent of candidates scored below this candidate.

I am sure that with more than 97 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get any branch in Army Institute of Technology, Pune, but remember admissions in this Institute are strictly limited to the wards of children of Army personnel who have served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years. Hello Venu Madhav, It is a myth when one feels that a student can go abroad for an engineering study with low tuition fees that too in a good institution. Studying abroad is always costly even if the student takes up part-time job which is allowed. Parents still have to shell out a substantial amount of money for sustaining the studies of their children. You have received a quite good percentile in the January edition of JEE Mains. Hello Pranjal,
According to your percentile and rank, you can get admission in many NITs and IIIs. Some of them are following.
1. NIT Agartala, cse
2.NIT Arunanchal Pradesh, Electrical, Mechanical
3.NIT Mizoram, CSE
4.NIT Silchar, Civil
5.NIT Manipur, CSE
6.NIT Meghalaya, CSE
There are many more college, where you can get admission. But try to do better in next exam.

Hello Sai, I must say that you have asked very interesting query. It can always be found out. But one needs data which in this case is simply not available. NTA felt, and of course accepted worldwide that in examination of this nature, it's relative performance that matters most and hence percentile is the one that will decide ranking this year. For yourself, you can find percentage by going through the answer key related to your paper and finding put right & wrong answers. Best wishes to you.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you in scoring such handsomely in your JEE Mains examination. Getting more than 90 as percentile shows your brilliance in the field of studies. Many private Institutions and Deemed to be university like Sastra definitely offer some fee concession or scholarships to the deserving candidates. But for this, you will have approach the administration of the college during admission process as these are not across the board and the number of scholarships are limited in numbers.
