Your odds of being admitted to NITs with an 84.3 percentile in JEE Mains rely on a number of variables, including your category (General, OBC, SC, or ST), the branch you're interested in, and the year's unique cutoffs. NITs typically have cutoffs that change annually and according to category. To accurately determine your prospects, it is advised that you review the counselling procedure this year as well as the cutoffs from the prior year. Depending on your percentile and category, you might be able to get opportunities at some NITs.

With a 90 percentile in JEE Mains and a 117489 rank, securing a seat in top NITs might be challenging, but you have a chance at newer or less sought-after NITs. Possible options include:NIT MizoramNIT Arunachal PradeshNIT SikkimNIT MeghalayaAdmission chances also depend on the branch preference and category (general, OBC, SC/ST). These NITs offer good education and opportunities, even if they are newer. Participating actively in the JoSAA counseling process and considering state quota and category benefits can enhance your chances of admission.

With an 86th percentile in JEE Main and a rank of 194,000 (with a category rank of 66,000), your chances of securing admission to NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), or GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes) might be challenging. However, there are still possibilities depending on various factors such as the availability of seats, the cutoff trends for the year, and the specific category you belong to. Here are some options you can consider: 1. State Government Engineering Colleges: Many state government engineering colleges accept JEE Main scores for admission. You can

A percentage is not the same as a percentile. While a percentile score is determined by comparing the relative performance of all exam takers, a percentage is a number out of 100. The percentage of candidates who received a score in the exam that was equal to or lower than that certain percentile is shown by the percentile score.

The NTA score in JEE Mains is a normalized score, that reflects your performance relative to other test-takers in the same session. The score factors like the difficulty level of the exam and the overall distribution of marks, not just the raw marks you scored.NTA score in JEE Mains evens out the playing field by accounting for variations in difficulty between different exam sessions. It essentially tells you what percentage of test-takers in your session scored lower than you.
