Sorry, I don't think you will get into NIT with these marks, you should have a percentile above 95 to get a seat in any NITs

Since you have not mentioned your category so consider it as general. You might not get the excellent colleges of your expectations but on such percentile and category, you have some chances of getting some colleges through MHT CET counseling according to the previous year's cut-off. You can try and apply to these colleges if you are genuinely interested in engineering.1. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Institute of Technology, Shedung, Panvel2. Dr. D. Y. Patil School OF Engineering, Lohegaon, Pune3. Vidyavardhini's College of Engineering and Technology, Vasai

With a percentile of 63 in JEE Main, admission to NITs or IIITs can be challenging. While a percentile of 63 opens up opportunities for various engineering colleges, it may not be sufficient for NITs or IIITs, as these institutions typically have higher cutoffs.Admission to NITs and IIITs is competitive, and candidates with higher percentiles are generally preferred for these prestigious institutes.

The percentile you score in JEE Mains depends on the overall performance of all the test-takers who appeared for the exam in that specific session. The NTA uses a process called equating to account for the varying difficulty levels of different test sessions.Equating Process: The NTA standardizes scores across different exam sessions to ensure fairness. A raw score of 63.9 in one session might translate to a different percentile compared to another session due to variations in question difficulty.Total Number of Test Takers: The percentile is calculated based on the relative performance of all test-takers. If a large number of students

Securing a seat in a top engineering college or a seat for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) might be difficult with a JEE Mains NTA score of 43.73 (assuming a percentile around 25-30). State Engineering Colleges: Many states conduct their own engineering entrance exams or accept JEE Main scores for admissions into state government colleges. These colleges often have lower cut-offs compared to national institutes. Research the engineering entrance exams or cut-offs based on JEE Mains scores in your state, particularly for branches other than CSE.Branches with Lower Cut-offs: Consider exploring engineering branches within these co

Getting an NIT with an 89.2 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 is possible, but it depends on several factors:Specific NIT: Different NITs have varying cut-offs depending on their popularity and location. More prestigious NITs like Trichy, Warangal, or Surathkal will have higher cut-offs compared to newer NITs.Branch Preference: The cut-off for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is generally the highest within an NIT. Other branches like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering might have slightly lower cut-offs.Category: Reservation quotas are applicable in NITs.
