If you can get good branches in other colleges, in which there are good placements go for it. If there are no such branch which you can get, then drop a year and study with full attention.

BITSAT, when compared to JEE Mains, is a bit tough and not easy to crack. For it, you have to do a little extra hard work and get hands-on practice to the way they take the tests, I. e. online and time duration with lots of pressure and bonus questions etc. It's a bit different from JEE Mains so keep that in mind, go through the NCERT books thoroughly and you'll crack it.
Best of luck.

Hello,
For CSE you can go for VIT Vellore, SRM Chennai, Galgotia's, BITS, Sharda and LPU (I have not mention any government college here because you have mentioned that you don't get the good marks). If you want to know which college you can get on your rank basis then click on the link given below and watch the video till the end.

No, don't drop a year just for JEE Mains. Drop only if you are targeting JEE Advance and if you want IITs. Still if you are confident enough that you can do very well in JEE Mains next year and are sure to get top NITs, then only drop the year otherwise it's a waste of time.

If you want to qualify JEE Mains then it is not necessary to take coaching. But if you are targeting JEE Advance and have taken a year's drop for only IITs then you should go for coaching. Preparation for JEE Mains is not that difficult. It just requires consistency and sitting hours. Focus thoroughly on class 11th and 12th.

No, it's not a wise idea. Go for coaching along with your studies. Both have the same syllabus. A proper mock test will help you get a good score along with your studies.

Hello Harsh,
Please look at the reality. You say you have dropped one year for preparing for JEE Mains. Can you get better results if study along with B.Sc? But you can always try. Yes, admissions in IIM are given to graduates of different disciplines.
