Merely taking mock test is not enough. It needs to be evaluated by expert and then you need to brush up on weak areas. This is the whole reason / purpose of mock test. There are some websites offering this service.

I have not heard of any app that can help you in preparation of JEE Mains. See, ultimately, it's you who has to study and pass exam. App perhaps may help you in finding answers while you are preparing. That's it.

Kindly, do not begin with this thought of skipping some topics. Have faith in yourself. If you have decided to appear please do not make halfhearted efforts. Go full distance. This is not some game which you can skip and nothing much will happen. Your whole life will depend on how you perform. I am saying all this because questions invariably cover complete syllabus.

Now a days, there are plenty of options of online tests. It's actually difficult to say which is better or best. To tell you frankly, by chance if the questions are from topic you know well, test appears simple & easy. On the other hand, if questions appear from not so well prepared topics, test appears to be tough. Toppr, plances, edushoppee are amongst the many choices.
Best wishes.

Syllabus of JEE Mains includes syllabus for CET. So, you are not studying anything extra. What perhaps differentiates these two is the type of questions. You have a choice of taking mock test yourself or taking on crash courses of some coaching institute. Later, they may also teach you about shortcuts in answering.
Best wishes.

With such limited time available, I would advise you to join a crash course of a coaching institute nearby your home. This will help you a lot. They will teach you tricks of shortcuts in answering questions. All subjects are covered in full in the exam. There is no special weightage for any question or for any chapter in any subject.
Best wishes!
