IIITs are difficult to get. While admission in IITs are based on JEE Advanced ranks so participate in JEE Advanced if qualified in JEE Main. Tryout Sastra Thanjavur or JIIT Noida on the basis of your 12th marks.

The required score in JEE Main to get admission in NIT for B.Tech varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and availability of seats. However, it's important to note that the cutoff score varies for different NITs and branches of B.Tech. Also, meeting the cutoff score does not guarantee admission as there are other factors that are taken into

Hello Manisha Adhikari, your JEE Mains rank of about two and a half Lacs is reasonably okay but it may not fetch you a SEED in NIT etc. This is because the maximum number of seats available in these institutions is just about 50000 and out of these 50% are for various reserved categories so you can imagine how much is available for general category. If you are from EWS category then out of the 25000 seeds only 10% or available and in that also you are ranking is more than 40000. So you can SEE for yourself as to where you stand. But then admissions are a very funny process many time's surprising results come out and students way below

Hello Bhukya Nithin, even though your question was almost 1 year old I will be trying to answer it with the current scenario. National testing agency which conducts JEE Mains examination in multiple sessions declares the results session wise as well as overall fundamentally in the percentile form. They also publish percentile cutoffs for different categories of students. The students who have scored equivalent or more percentiles are only authorised to take part in the counselling for admission to NIT or equivalent institute. Till last year they had given relaxation of the condition of 75% in the 12th standard for admission into IIT bu

Hello Prashant Kushwah, to tell you frankly the admissions in the branch of computer Science engineering is quite tough and one needs to be in the top percentile to think of getting admission. This is so because almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and the seats are always limited in number. Based on your domicile of UP and your JEE Mains percentile, you can get admission to some of the government engineering colleges such as Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) and Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT). I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
