Hi,
Kindly google in the previous year opening and closing rank of NITs to get a rough idea of which colleges and which branches you can apply for. As for IIT they refer to the JEE Advanced marks not of JEE Mains.

Admissions are purely done on the JEE Mains rank so I'd suggest you to visit josaa.nic.in and check the previous year's cutoffs of your home state NITs as in most of the cases it is easier to get home state NIT because of home state quota.

Yes, you have all the capability and requirements to get a seat in NIT in CS. You can get NITK, Suratkal which is the best NIT in India.

There is no any chance of getting Thapar University. You may go for Chandigarh University, Sharda, etc.

You won't get any government college so I would suggest you to explore your possibilities in top private colleges and make the best out of it.

You will not get any core branch in NITs if you're from general category though you may get some decent CFTI's and non-core branch in new NITs. Please check the list on JOSSA for further information.
